Do you have an Item Limit for consignors?

In order to keep our inventory high-end and of the highest quality we are limiting consignors to 150 items per consignor code. Please carefully check your things and bring your best! An entire outfit is only considered one item as long as it can be sold together. This new limit encompasses clothing, toys, shoes, books, furniture and other items. **If you have more than 150 items in EXCELLENT condition, you may open up additional codes. Each code will be subject to the $12 consignor fee and 150 items may be entered for each code you open.

Can I bring my significant other or child's grandparent with me to the Pre-Sale?

We are allowing workers and consignors to bring one immediate family member with them to the Pre-Sale to help them shop. This includes your husband/wife or child's grandparent, not your best friend. You may give your guest pass to your friend & meet them at the Guest Sale later in the evening.

Can I bring children to the Pre-Sale?

Our Pre-Sale event is busy and bustling. If at all possible, we encourage you to enjoy the pre-sale as a kid-free girls night out. The crowds and lines can be tough on kids. With that said, we are parents and we completely understand if you need to bring your children to the event.

How should I price my items?

We suggest you set the price at 30% of the retail value of the item. Baby Equipment, Furniture and Large Indoor/Outdoor Toys usually sell for more and are in high demand. We have an abundance of 0-6 month sizes, so they must be priced competitively in order to sell. Maternity and Junior clothing are not shopped as heavily, so price these competitively, also. Please check out the pricing guide available on this website for tips.

Can I be a consignor in more than one Rhea Lana event?

Yes, but you will need to enter your items online in separate batches and under separate Consignor Numbers. Register for each sale separately.

Can I use wire hangers?

No, please use children's plastic hangers for sizes 10 and below. Use larger plastic hangers for sizes 12 and above. No wire hangers please.

How do I secure small pieces with Toys or Equipment?

Place them in a Ziploc bag and then seal the Ziploc with clear packing tape. This is important.

What is your participation fee?

Our participation fee is $12 for each consignor code. There is a limit of 150 items per code. The fee is deducted directly from your check at the end of the event so there is no need to write a check or make a cash payment.

What if my item is not worth your minimum price guideline of $3.00?

If it meets our "excellence quality" standards, then group it together with one or two more like items. Pin them together on a hanger, or group them in a Ziploc bag and put one price for the entire group.

Should I iron my clothes?

Ironing is not always necessary. Often placing clothing in a dryer with a wet cloth to release wrinkles is sufficient. It is worth noting that those that go the extra mile by ironing often have outstanding sell-through percentages. Moms love to find items that look like they are in pristine condition. Please do what is necessary to make your clothes look clean and nice. Remember, the better they look, the more likely they are to sell.

Can I enter additional batches?

Yes, you may enter additional batches. The total number of items in your batches under one code may not exceed 150 items. **If you have more than 150 items in EXCELLENT condition, you may open up additional codes (and additional batches within that code). Each code will be subject to the $12 consignor fee and 150 items may be entered for each code you open.

I don't smoke, but my spouse does, what if there is a small amount of smoke odor in my children's clothing that I am bringing to sell?

We are not able to accept ANY clothing that has odor of any kind. When it is hung on the rack with other clothes, the odor spreads. We must be sensitive to children and families with allergies and we absolutely cannot sell any items with smoke odor, pet odor, or any other kind of odor. Clothing with pet hair is also not acceptable.
