Here are some guidelines to help as you prepare your items for the sale. Click here to see what is acceptable and not acceptable for the sale.

Supplies Needed

HANGERS – in order to protect your clothing items we only accept plastic hangers. Find plastic hangers at Wal-Mart, Target, Dollar Stores. Retail plastic hangers are acceptable too.

STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels to. You can find these at Wal-Mart, office supply stores, the Rhea Lana Store or large quantities may be purchased from Amazon.

You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc…), masking tape, scotch tape, sharpie, and safety pins. For large quantities of quality safety pins we recommend ordering from Cleaners Supply .

If you would like to print your barcodes at home you’ll need adhesive address labels size 1” X 2 5/8” (30 up). We recommend ordering from Amazon Here. Please note: all labels printed at home MUST be printed in color.

In order to keep our inventory high-end and of the highest quality, we are limiting consignors to 150 items per consignor code. As always, we encourage you to bring your best items so that you sell a high percentage of your items! Work smarter not harder.

*LIMITED INFANT SIZES INCLUDE: premie, newborn, 0-3mo, 0-6mo, 3mo, 3-6mo, 3-9mo, 6mo, 6-9mo, 6-12mo, 9mo, 9-12mo, 12mo, and 12-18mo. We encourage you to bundle items on each hanger.

Clothing

This season we will accept Spring and Summer clothing, shoes, accessories, sporting gear, and equipment. Children's, Junior, and Maternity sizes will be accepted. We will also accept high-end adult athletic and athleisure wear that is in great condition.

We will not accept cold-weather clothing, Fall/Winter outfits or Fall/Winter holiday-themed outfits, snow boots, winter weight clothing, etc. Please save anything basically purposed for Fall and/or Winter for the next event.

Please take time to

1) Double-check for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, missing buttons, etc. as you prep and enter your items. We will also check at the store and will not receive any item that is not in excellent condition.

2) Please wash your clothes and make sure they are wrinkle-free. 3) Use Plastic Hangers only. Please, no metal hangers! This makes shopping more pleasant. Clothes tend to fall off metal hangers which contribute to poor sales and missing tags. Use children's plastic hangers for sizes 6 and below. Use larger plastic hangers for sizes 8 and above. You may use wire-coated hangers as long as they are size appropriate. Plastic hangers may be purchased at Target and Wal-Mart (priced around 10 for $1.50).

4) Group items together so that they will equal a value of at least $4.00. Infant sleepers, onesies, and children's pajamas are great to group together as a set of 2 or 3. They may be pinned together on one hanger.

5) Pin all pants to a hanger, ironed flat front. Pants that are folded over a hanger do not sell well.

6) All sets and accessories need to be pinned securely together, with pants hung on the back of the shirt at the shoulder or waist. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them. If a shirt/pant set is on separate hangers, rubber band the hangers together.

Shoes

We will accept like-new Spring and Summer sandals, shoes and rain boots. Please, save your Fall and Winter shoes and boots for our next sale. Shoes are difficult to tag, so please follow these guidelines to be sure shoes remain together:

1) Write your consignor number and price on masking tape, placing it on the bottom of both shoes.

2) Safety pin the price tag to a shoelace or through the shoe eyelet.

3) Zip tie both shoes together. If shoes are too small or will not stay together with a zip tie you may place them inside a Ziploc bag.

Bedding (Children's Bedding full size or smaller Only please)

We no longer accept crib bumpers or comforters.

It is best to package a bedding set together. Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. You can bundle hangers together if you have a set. Shoppers also like to see a picture of the set (if one is available) or a list of all the items included in the set.

Blankets

Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, group 2 or 3 together in a Ziploc bag and seal with clear plastic tape. Safety pin the tag to the Ziploc bag. It helps to write your consignor number and price on the Ziploc bag with a Sharpie in the case that the string tag comes off during the sale.

Loose Items

Bottles, bibs, rattles, socks, bows, etc group together appropriately in Ziploc bags. Seal with clear packing tape. Pin tag to Ziploc bag. It helps to write your consignor number and price on the Ziploc bag with a Sharpie in the case that the string tag comes off during the sale.

Toys, Furniture, Equipment

Must be clean and in working order (batteries included). Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely using tape or zip tie. If parts get separated the item will not sell. Games should be double checked to ensure all pieces are included and taped closed. Puzzles, books, videos and small toys should be double checked to ensure all pieces are included and that they are in good condition (ie. no previously filled out pages, torn pages, scratched DVD�s or puzzles missing pieces). Please write your consignor number and info with a Sharpie on a piece of tape or the Ziploc bag in case the tag comes off. Puzzles should be wrapped securely in a clear wrap to keep the pieces intact. TOYS NOT PACKAGED APPROPRIATELY WILL BE TURNED AWAY.

We will only accept name-brand stuffed animals in like-new condition. Items like holiday-themed, generic stuffed animals do not sell and will not be accepted.

Large Little Tikes Toys and Furniture are in high demand! When tagging large toys please attach a piece of masking tape to the toy with your consignor code and price. This will enable us to sell your toy even if the tag comes off! We sell 95% of Toys, Furniture and Baby Equipment!

Toy recall information - Due to the high number of toy recalls, we will inspect toys very carefully. We reserve the right to pull any toy that we think might have been recalled. Used Car Seats & Booster Seats are Not Accepted

The safety of the children in our community comes first. We do not sell any type of car seat or booster seat that has previously been used. In the event, you have a car seat or booster that is new with tags it may be consigned if it is still in its original packaging.

Furniture Nook

We accept baby and children's furniture such as changing tables, children's beds, dressers, rocking chairs, playroom furniture, and more! We do not accept drop-side cribs and cribs manufactured before June 2011.

We accept household furniture in excellent condition from a smoke-free home! This includes chairs, tables, beds, rugs, etc. These items MUST be pre-approved by mel@rhealana.com before you enter them. No TVs, electronics, room accessories not from your child's room, or nick-knacks, please!
